| The Mi-Carême is a very special celebration that takes place on Isle-aux-Grues every winter. During the traditional Mi-Carême celebration, the women of the island make beautiful costumes, displaying their impressive talent and creativity. The goal behind the celebration is to try and not be recognised by your fellow islanders during the evening visits from house to house. A true challenge when you live in a community with no more than 125 citizens. | | | | Mi-Carême Mask | | |
